Hammers Technical Specifications
Rock Tools Hammers are pneumatically operated down the hole hammers designed for Top Rock Drilling Equipment. As per the proven design, hammers are manufactured with very few moving parts. These components are made-up of alloy steels and heat treated to give strength, wear resistance and toughness. These hammers are provided with check valve that prevents the ingress of water from the hole when air supply is cut off.
General Specification
These are valveless hammers, which can be operated at high pressures (200-350 PSI) with 750-1150 cfm compressors. At higher air pressure the hammers penetrate very fast i.e. 50-120% faster compared to low-pressure hammers.
The exhaust air accomplishes continuous cleaning of the hole in the bit because at high pressures more FAD on volume is used by the hammer. If the drilling conditions require additional air the solid metering plug can be replaced to extra air through the hole in the bit.
